Overview & Highlights

Welcome to Ristorante Pizzeria Sa Pinta, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Palau, Italy, located at Viale Razzoli, 2, 07020 Palau SS. This charming eatery promises an authentic dining experience that showcases the vibrant flavors of traditional Sardinian cuisine.

From the moment you step inside, you are met with a warm ambiance that complements the tantalizing aromas wafting through the air. As you settle in, the menu offers an array of dishes that reflect the culinary heritage of the region, with expertly crafted pizzas and comforting pasta options at the forefront.

Customer reviews highlight a mix of commendations and critiques. One patron, Błażej, praised the establishment for its “fantastic service” and “phenomenal food”, indicating that Sa Pinta is a suitable choice for a delightful evening. However, some guests, like Liliana Sousa, pointed out a few shortcomings, including the less-than-ideal gluten-free pizza base. This showcases the restaurant's need for refinement in some areas, even as it excels in others.

Signature dishes often garner attention, like the well-loved starters and main courses, although some reviews suggest varying experiences with flavor and preparation. Despite the occasional inconsistencies, such as the opinion from Jesús Alvalle who noted a lack of taste in the meat, it’s clear that Sa Pinta strives to deliver quality meals at a reasonable pace.

The service, while generally fast, has drawn mixed reactions. While many guests have enjoyed the efficiency, others have felt a disconnect with staff, which suggests the restaurant could benefit from enhancing customer interactions to match the high standards of its cuisine. Steve Moll shared a noteworthy experience regarding pricing transparency, emphasizing the importance of clear communication, especially given the vibrant tourist atmosphere.

Overall, Ristorante Pizzeria Sa Pinta remains a must-visit spot in Palau for those seeking traditional Italian fare in a welcoming setting. The combination of hearty dishes, like their renowned pizzas, alongside the promise of breathtaking Sardinian hospitality makes it worth exploring. With a little fine-tuning, Sa Pinta could easily transform into the leading dining establishment that fully embodies the rich flavors and culture of the region.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, prepare for an exciting culinary journey at Sa Pinta, where every dish tells a story. For reservations, you can reach them at +39 0789 709162.

Fantastic service, phenomenal food. Absolutely great choice to have beautiful evening!

The pork was very good but the gluten-free pizza base was frozen, it wasn't great. The service was fast but not very friendly.

Everything was excellent. They lose one star as the waiter steered me towards the fish of the day. I asked for a small fish as I was having a pasta starter.. when the fish came on the bill it was 55euros. This was the most expensive dish of my 30 meals during my vacation. I only ate half the fish as I wanted to try the authentic Sardinia desert. I take some blame but there was definitely an opportunist approach to take advantage of a tourist. I can afford, is not the issue, they should have confirmed the price would be high, which it definitely was compared to other fish I ordered while in Sardinia..and that was the main reason I did NOT go back for another meal.

The food and the Starters were really good, the Main Aswell but the Meat had no Taste at all. The yn‘s we’re nice Servers but they were sprinting the whole time. The old server was annoyed, bored, unmotivated and mean 2 Stars for the Service. Theyre we’re quite alot of people there and the Food came fast, but we waited super long for the table

We were very lucky, being there quite early and without any reservation got a free table. The food was good, and we plan to come again.

Wonderfull, quick service, lovely waiter, children loved the pizzas, the local sardinian pasta was amazing.
